This small, upright, ornamental flowering shrub is very hardy and works well in borders and smaller gardens. 

Mature plants will reach 5-6' tall and 3-4' wide.  Depending on the variety, small, double pink or white flowers apear in late April.

This shrub is great for those who love the look of some of flowering prunus trees (cherry, plum, etc.) but simply don't have the room.
