Our varieties will reach 12-15" tall by 18-14" wide and bloom for six weeks beginning in late summer and continuing right through the fall. They are highly mildew resistant and bloom in blue, pink and purple, carrying summer color into the autumn landscape.
Mums, New England's traditional fall favorite, have a decent chance of returning next year only if they are planted before their buds begin to show signs of blooming. Asters, however, are more hardy in this area, so they make a great alternative to mums in the perennial garden.
