Bugle Weed (Ajuga)
Ajuga is a vigorous, mat-forming groundcover that is ideal in areas where lawn is not needed. This hardy shade perennial blooms in blue hues in late spring or summer, and many varieties are long-blooming. It also boasts interesting foliage that turns slightly reddish-bronze.
Depending on the selection, ajuga will reach 3-10" tall and will spread freely.
