Coreopsis (Tickseed)

This hardy, long-blooming, compact growing perennial has somewhat hairy, narrow foliage with single flowers on pale green stems.

Depending on the variety, coreopsis will grow between 6-20" in height, and generally blooms summer through fall.  Gold is the predominant color of coreopsis, although interesting variations can be found.

Sun exposure: full sun

Characteristics: butterfly & hummingbird attractant, deer resistant, lends itself to cut flowers
