Lamium is a great, easy care, shade perennial, although it will also do well in sun.  Depending on the variety, it grows between 4-8" in height and 12-18" in spread, making it a good ground cover for shady areas. 

Lamium is also beautiful as a trailing container plant and is one of the few Connecticut hardy perennials that overwinters well potted.

Bloomtime will vary by selection, but several are early bloomers that last for many weeks.
