Foxglove (Digitalis)
This upright growing perennial forms a rosette of large, lance-shaped, hairy leaves. Use as an accent, in a border or container.
Varieties:
grandiflora Dwarf Carillon - yellow flowers, summer bloom, 14” tall
purpurea varieties are 48-54” tall, bloom in the summer and come in shades of purple, as well as apricot and white.
Sun: partial sun
Characteristics: deer resistant, lends itself to cut flowers
