Wolcott Garden Treasures
Although Kalmia is Connecticut's state flower, this northeast native can be extremely tricky to grow. While you still have to be mindful of the plant's care at home (particularly that you don't over-water), our grower, Prides Corner Farms, does its part to provide us with the best, most hardy varieties. Prides Corner is licensed to propagate and grow cutting edge varieties created by the world's foremost authority on Kalmia: Connecticut resident, Dr. Richard Jones. These latifolia hybrid varieties are grown for hardiness and performance, which helps make the challenge of growing Mountain Laurel a little more manageable!
