Shadblow (canadensis)

• 15-20’ tall x 8-12’ wide
• Hardy and super easy to grow, shadblow likes sun or part sun.
• As leaves begin to emerge, erect plumes of small, snowy white flowers bloom in late April, dusting the landscape with clouds of cottony color. 
• Mature, deep green foliage cloaks the plant and provides the backdrop for shiny black fruit that matures late in the summer.
• Golden yellow to orange foliage makes this a delightful plant even in autumn, and the muscular gray bark shows well all winter.
