Tiger Eyes Sumac (Rhus)

Tiger Eyes Sumac (typhina)

  • Big foliage fronds emerge chartreuse in the early spring and mature to bright, non-burning yellow, providing an eye opening contrast against pinkish colored stems.
  • Fall color morphs again into a blazing shade of scarlet
  • This Staghorn variety of Sumac is non-poisonous and thrives in poor, well-drained soil and full sun.
